Neighborhood University is scheduled for Oct 17, and WNA will pay for 5 people from WNA to attend. Jane reported that the neighborhood clean-up was a go for Sept 19, and that we can still use more volunteers. She also reported that the Walkabout is the 3rd Thursday of the month, but with it getting dark earlier, people should participate on their own timetable. Tony Decker reminded us of the 1st annual pancakes & sausage feed on November 7 at Westlink Church of Christ, from 8-11. Cost will be $5.00 a plate and volunteers are still needed. Linda Shinogle asked for an update on the skateboard park idea, but Anthony Shields was not available for comment. We will try to include an update in the next Link Letter.
